Every provider on Swap Navigator is scored against the same fixed, weighted criteria - never a case-by-case judgment call. This page shows exactly what we measure, how much each factor counts, and why.

Scoring Criteria

How We Gather the Facts

We base every score on publicly available material: a provider's own fee and terms pages, official announcements, and independent incident reports where they exist. The "at a glance" facts on a review page are refreshed whenever that review is updated.

Update Cadence

Reviews are refreshed periodically to catch fee changes, policy updates, and incidents. The exact "Updated" date on each review reflects when it was last checked, not when the provider itself last changed.

Getting a Score Corrected

Think a score is off? Let us know through our contact page with your reasoning - we'll re-check it against this methodology and fix it if it's warranted.
